1) Gather the Required Documents

First of all you need to gather the documents which are required to change address in SBI Bank Account. The documents which will be asked for are :

  • PAN Card
  • Proof of Address (Office/Residence)
  • SBI Account Passbook

Important Note : You would need Self Attested Photocopies as well as Originals of the documents listed above.

2) Application Addressing the Branch Manager

Write an application addressing your SBI Branch Manager along with your old and new address, your SBI Bank Account Details & your Signature.

  • Name on Account
  • SBI Bank Account Number
  • Old Address
  • New Address

3) Collect and Fill up KYC Details Change Form

Now visit your SBI Home Branch along with the documents mentioned in Step 1 & Step 2 and collect the KYC Details Change Form from the counter. Fill up the KYC details change form completely along with your new address and put your signature wherever needed.

4) Submit the SBI Address Change Documents

Finally, submit the documents mentioned in Step 1, 2 & 3 to the Accounts Executive. Upon verification of your documents, your new address will be updated in SBI Bank Account within 1-2 working days. You are also advised to update your Address in SBI Bank Passbook as soon as your Address is changed in the Bank records.
